Consists chiefly of financial records (1937-1949, 1955-1957) and board of directors meeting minutes (1937-1949, 1955-1957) of the Parkway Community House, a neighborhood center. Also included are lists of contributors; reports of fund raising campaigns; general correspondence of the executive director; financial records (1946-1947) of the Skyloft Players, an amateur theater company; and reports (1944-1948) concerning the operation of a nursery school program.

Parkway Community House (formerly the Good Shepherd Community Center) was organized in 1937(?) by the Church of the Good Shepherd (Congregational). For many years, Parkway Community House (PCH) was located at 51st and South Parkway (later King Drive).
